In the process of writing my last two posts, Understanding Life Backward and Living Life Forward, I came across many quotes that inspire letting the past go, to live life forward.
I figured I should compile into a post the ones I found most insightful.
Here goes:

Getting over a painful experience is much like crossing monkey bars. You have to let go at some point in other to move forward.’
– C.S. Lewis

‘You can’t start the next chapter of your life if you keep re-reading the last one.’
– Anonymous

‘You can’t reach for anything new if your hands are still full of yesterday’s junk.’
– Louise Smith

‘Live out of your imagination not your history.’
– Stephen Covey

‘Time heals nothing unless you move along with it.’
– Rachel Wolchin

‘The past is your lesson. The present your gift. The future your motivation.’
– Zig Ziglar

‘You don’t have to have it all figured out to move forward…just take the next step.’
– Anonymous

‘No matter how dirty your past is, your future is still spotless.’
– Aubrey ‘Drake’ Graham
‘Closure happens right after you accept that letting go and moving on is more important than projecting a fantasy of how the relationship [ situation, or your life] could have been.’
– Sylvester McNutt III. Words in parenthesis mine.

‘There’s an opportune time to do things, a right time…to search and another to count your losses. A right time to hold on and another to let go,’
– Solomon David (Ecclesiastes 3:1, 6)
My intention is that the insights contained in these quotes will spur you to get unstuck from, let go of, and move past any, disappointment, failure betrayal and hurt from your past.
To live a life free of the clutter of regret and loss.
I hope I succeeded.
Which of these quotes did you find most helpful?
kindly share this post with others.
